Ladies Of The Fellowship WELCOME... Ladies of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship: God has great things in store for you!"You have not chosen Me but I have chosen and ordained you that you might go forth and bear much fruit." It was at the beginning when our beloved founder, Demos Shakarian and his wife, Rose, working together founded the first chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International. As Demos led the meetings, Rose helped by playing the piano and other helps. Since this humble beginning, just like Demos, all of the men of the Fellowship around the world, whether they be Members, Chapter Officers, Field Representatives, National Directors, Presidents of their nations, or International Directors, have discovered that God gave them a wonderful helpmate in their wives. As God has anointed the man to do the work of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship, He has anointed his wife to support her husband and to help him fulfill the calling that God has placed upon their lives. Therefore, the wonderful ladies of the Fellowship are recognized for their gifts and callings of encouragement and helps, working in conjunction with their husbands, and under the submission of the chapter leaders for the purpose of sharing together with their husband this wonderful ministry of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International. The meetings that include both men and women are a good place for wives to share in the ministry of ‘helps’. The women will receive a card and pin, allowing them to operate in the ministry of “Helps” under the direction of the Chapter officers. The offices and the voting rights in Chapter and delegate meetings are retained by the members as established in the Bylaws of the Fellowship. As a lady of the Fellowship, you have been chosen for a special ministry and calling. You have been called by God to be a helpmate for your husband. That makes you valuable to the success of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Chapter.

As your husband’s wife, you add a dimension to his ministry that is unattainable to him alone. Just as your life complements his in marriage, God’s gifts in you complement your husband’s in ministry. FGBMFI can help you both discover and release that special ministry that God has entrusted to you as a married couple. Your Chapter is the perfect place to discover how this partnership with your husband in ministry works, God can use the story of His influence in your lives to heal broken marriages and shattered lives of others. Prayer is the most important ministry that you have. Prayer is the place where this partnership with God blossoms. Your FGBMFI Chapter helps you to develop your own prayer life. You will learn to recognize the voice of God. We cap help you fulfill His desires for your life. You may wish to begin a “Networking Prayer Team”. This is an outgrowth of the television ministry. Around the world.., around the clock.., the FGBMFI is praying for you.
God has a special purpose for you, your husband and children. Your family was not brought together by accident, but rather by the will of God. FGBMFI helps families discover their purpose in God’s plan. Every son and daughter can learn with you and your husband how to know and follow God’s will for his and her life.
FGBMFI has grown around the concept of the local chapters. A Chapter is a group of 10 or more men who have been born again, baptized with the Holy Spirit, and are seeking to share their faith with others. There are over 3000 Chapters in the world. No two Chapters are the same. The Holy Spirit expresses Himself uniquely in every Chapter. The common thread running through every Chapter is that common, ordinary men and women can bring the love of God to all people. The mission of a FGBMFI Chapter is to help you and your husband share God’s love with others.
Often, several Chapters in a state or region get together to celebrate a convention. FGBMFI has a world convention once a year. On these occasions, Chapters and members come together to celebrate what God has done in their lives over the past year and to receive fresh vision from Him for the year to come. Special speakers are invited who bring anointed ministry to us. We then are able to bring this fresh anointing back to our local chapter and bless the lives of our neighbors.
Ladies teas and coffees, in some nations, have been one of the greatest methods of reaching high level government and business leaders for the Lord. The women have a tea or coffee time and they share, encourage, pray, and minister to one another. Many wives of famous people have found the Lord in this manner. Then at the next major banquet of the Full Gospel Business Men in the city, these wives, that have found the Lord and are believing that their husbands will also find Christ, are given a table of honour in the front. These Teas and Coffees serve to bring a spirit of unity among the wives with the Fellowship. They already know that the husband is not complete without the wife, and this gives the women an opportunity to share, participate, help each other, and be a part of the ministry they love so much, the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International.
The Ladies of the Fellowship have a beautiful Ladies pin which an artist was commissioned to design. Each pin has a stone, the red for a one year pin and the bright stone for a Lifetime pin. The Logo at the beginning of this page is a replica of the one year pin.
The fact is, we must all work together in harmony for the Chapters to be a success. No one person, man or woman, can do it alone. We need each other using their gift for the whole body.
