“NETWORKING THE GOOD NEWS” TELEVISIONby MATT CROUCH President Gener8xion Entertainment I want to communicate to you why I think it is important to do a television program for the Full Gospel Business Men. Personally I believe it will be the businessmen of the world that will usher in finances that we need to do what we all want to do. I think that if Christian television in general or telethons were the approach that God is going to use to finance the Kingdom, it would have already been done. My
generation is a little bit younger than most of you, but my generation aren’t
quite being reached the way they should be. There is a whole new level we can
achieve. You are looking at a young businessman. I need to be drawn to this
Fellowship. The age group of young businessmen, like myself, are the future. We
have a great advantage, though. We have a heritage to build on. That’s
incredible. As
a producer, I take the ministry expression of the Fellowship and I just give it
a louder voice. Television is simply a louder microphone for what happens each
and every week in Chapters all around the World. We are going to try to get the
camera to each and every one of them eventually. We
want to develop segments that have cameras in many, many locations around the
World. Even if you send home video type footage, we’re going to utilize that
on the television program. Rosie Grier made a statement early on in the very
beginning of the program. He says, “It takes a team to win and everyone: likes
to be part of a winning team,” We have to tell everyone that will listen and
watch our program that we are a team. That there is this huge group of men
called The Full Gospel Business Men that come together, that meets and prays for
each other. My job is simply document what happens. I don’t have to create
anything. I just have to show it. So on one hand it is very simple and on the
other hand it is challenging to document the massiveness of what we have going
here at FGBMFI. One
way of building a team is to do sub-Chapter meetings each week. You can invite
somebody over to watch the weekly episodes of “Networking”. Each one of us
took something away from the pilot program we just watched. Each one of us will
remember one little statement. One of those nuggets landed and touched your
heart, I know. That will happen every week now for a long, long, long time. I
am excited about doing this. I am thrilled that Richard is so open. His mind
set. He listens to me, I help him and he helps me. My ministry is communication.
That is what I have been trained at since I was little. I was hanging around TV
studios and I learned over those years how to edit, how to tell a story. I
just have to see where the fire is burning and send the camera. We have to
videotape the move of the Spirit from around the world and all I have to do is
just put it all together. It is a big jigsaw puzzle back at my office. We take
all the interview footage; the opens, the closes, and we put them together so
that we can attract viewers to our Fellowship. I think the businessmen should
have the best television program; we represent the King of Kings and the Lord of
Lords. We’re the businessmen; we’re submitted to the highest authority in
the Universe, we should have the best. I believe that with all my heart. I
think it is going to take all of us putting our hands in our pockets and making
it happen for the Fellowship financially because television is expensive. And
you know what? I can’t apologize for, that. To go to work, an infantryman puts
on a pair of khakis and throws a gun over his shoulder, but a fighter pilot
straps on a $30 million aircraft and goes to work. It is not his fault that his
piece of equipment costs millions, But you know what? A fighter jet is an
awesome tool for the military, television is also an awesome tool, but look what
it can do. When this program hits the air it will have the potential of reaching
70 million people just on Trinity’s Network. We have many, many ways that this
program can be effective. One of them is translating it into languages. Another
is to have some of you men sponsor the airtime for “Networking” it right
here in your hometown. That could happen in 75 other markets besides the Trinity
Network, just here in America. We could have this program on hundreds of
stations here in the United States very simply, very quickly, very effectively.
As well as satellite sending it out to the entire North American Continents,
Central America, Africa, Europe and Asia. I
am excited about it. We’re just getting started. To be a sponsor of this powerful medium of TV/Radio please contact us by e-mail. Click here for TV sponsorship or Click here for Radio sponsorship. Details of existing programmes with view times would be listed shortly. |
